Here the restrained and cool nose only grudgingly reveals notes of white flowers, citrus zest, spice and a discreet hint of wood influence. Once again there is admirably good mid-palate concentration to the much more mineral-driven medium weight flavors that possess a notably more refined mouth feel but perhaps not quite the finishing complexity on the wonderfully long and well-balanced finale. Note that my score offers the benefit of the doubt that more depth will develop if this is allowed a few years of cellar time first. Recommended.
